Wednesday Night Kids Activties

5:00 PM  Kids Music where children can learn how to play guitar, a brass instrument or a tamborine

5:30 PM  Kids Supper where every child receives a heathly meal

6:00 PM  Character Building where girls in 1st through 5th grade enjoy Sunbeams, females in 6th through 12th grade enjoy Girl Guards, boys in 1st through 5th grade enjoy Adventure Corps and males in 6th through 12th grade enjoy Boy Scouts.  Character Building are in the Scouting tradition and provide young people the opportunity to grow Physically, Spiritually, Mentally and Socially. 

SAY Basketball 

FREE Basketball Camp at The ‪‎Salvation Army of ‪Sioux Falls July 9th, 10th and 11th 2018 This free camp is being offered through a partnership with Central Baptist Church.

The camp is open to young men and young women of all skill levels. Whether you are an experienced player looking to take your game to the next level or you just shoot around with your friends at the park, this camp will help you improve your game!

Dates: Monday, July 9 through Wednesday, July 11. Times: Elementary Camp for students entering grades 3-5 from 9 am to 11 am. Middle School Camp & Freshman is for students entering grades 6-9 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Students who register in advance will receive a free T-SHIRT and BASKETBALL!!!!!

Transportation is available from some Whittier area locations (Call 605-338-6649 ext. 317 about transportation.) Contact saysportscamp@gmail.com for more information. The camp will take place at The Salvation Army-800 N. Cliff Avenue. Online registration may be completed at http://saysportscamps.weebly.com/ OR STOP BY The Salvation Army at 800 N. SAY Golf

The ‪SalvationArmy of ‪SiouxFalls is excited to announce a special Junior Golf program in conjunction with First Tee of South Dakota. This is a FREE program through The Salvation Army and we invite parents/guardians to contact Marcie at 605-338-6649 ext. 317 or Major Belinda at 605-338-6649 ext. 319 to find out how your child(ren) can participate in this wonderful program. 

  • First Tee of South Dakota will provide an opportunity for your child to learn how to play golf.  This will include a T-shirt.
  • The Salvation Army will provide (through a generous donor) the program fee of $120, transportation to and from the golf course, lunch prior to the program and tennis shoes for anyone who does not have a pair to play in. 

This program will take place on Monday’s during the months of June, July and August.  Again, this is a FREE program where The Salvation Army will be providing membership to First Tee, transportation to the program, lunch and tennis shoes. 

Please fill out the attached forms.  One for The Salvation Army to be able to transport your child and one for The First Tee of South Dakota to be able to enroll your child in the PLAYer and/or PAR program at Elmwood Golf Course.
