Good    Xcel Energy logo

For the last 25 years, volunteers from the Sioux Empire have given of their time and talents to participate in the "Brush Up Sioux Falls" PAINT-A-THON.  Teams are made up of volunteers from all walks of life.  They pitch in to touch the hearts of the elderly and disabled homeowners in our community by preparing and painting homes at no charge.

The Sun Is Shining   It's
about more than just painting a house  One day's worth
of work, can change a life.

What an
amazing transformation

Every year we encounter more persons in need, than we have volunteer teams.  Please consider partnering with The Salvation Army and filling this need for seniors and disabled persons in our community.    The painting of the homes can be completed through the summer months.  We like to have all the homes completed by the second week of September.

The appreciation of the homeowners is truly heart felt.  They often worry about maintaining the appearance of their home but know there just isn't money to pay for the needed painting.  Our partnership with Norberg Paints and volunteer teams make it possible to alleviate this worry for those in need.
