The Sioux Falls Transitional Housing Residential Unit Program is an eighteen month program which helps provide homeless veterans with the tools necessary to set and attain goals leading to self-sufficiency.  Clients are provided with transitional shelter and needed support as well as the tools necessary to seek, obtain and maintain permanent employment.  The goal of the program is to insure that each client has the knowledge required for success in independent living.  A program extension of six months is available on an "as need" basis.

Ron Obe is the Transitional Housing Program Director.   Ron can be reached at 605-338-6649 ext. 322 or ron_obe@usc.salvationarmy.org.

"What better way to provide food, clothing, shelter and guidance than through the Sioux Fall’s Salvation Army Housing Program, Especially, since it’s Transitional Program targets Military Veterans.  Ron is a veteran of the Vietnam Era, he understands the struggles that Wounded Warriors go through in their transition from homelessness to independent living."  Ron OBE
